While in the Galapagos, they saw several different species of animals, including sea lions, marine iguanas, sea turtles, flamingoes, pelicans, sharks, and blue footed boobies. They snorkeled, visited a giant tortoise reserve, explored lava tunnels, built sand castles on the beach, ate ceviche, and went bird watching.
After the Galapagos Islands, they flew to Quito, which is the capital of Ecuador. There, they toured churches, played at the Parque Carolina playground, visited the monument on the equator and enjoyed the local cuisine. They also took a cable car to an altitude of 13,300 feet. Their favorite place was the Mindo Cloud Forest, where they ziplined 250 feet above the rainforest, hiked to several waterfalls and visited a chocolate factory, where they learned how chocolate was made!!!
It was a very fun experience for all! Thank you so much Tucker Family!
